dPass
Four doors. One secure lock. Exact count.
dPass is one of the most advanced products in access control, combining the renowned precision of dFlow technology with an innovative approach. It pairs 3D imaging and AI sensing with a four-door configuration in which the gates form a secure lock between entry and exit — delivering stricter control and an accurate count of the individuals inside the gate. Designed for the demands of critical environments.
A Secure Lock, Not an Open Gate
dPass operates as a security interlock. Four doors — two pairs — form a secure lock between the entry and exit sides, so a user is admitted, contained, and verified before the second pair releases. The configuration gives an accurate count of the individuals inside the gate at any moment, reducing errors and closing the gap that tailgating exploits.
The imaging system is equivalent to an almost infinite number of traditional IR sensors, establishing a new level of accuracy. Digicon’s algorithms recognize people, ignore objects like bags and luggage, and can isolate individual users even under extreme conditions such as piggybacking or side-by-side entry.
Built for airports and borders, where dPass ensures controlled and secure passenger flow while optimizing boarding and disembarking, and for restricted areas and underground levels in commercial and industrial buildings, where entry and exit flow must be monitored with precision.
Engineered for Performance
Advanced sensors and processing for seamless access.
AI Imaging System
Advanced 3D imaging software identifies multiple users simultaneously, distinguishing between people and objects like bags or carts — even in extreme piggybacking scenarios.
Secure Lock Configuration
Four doors form an interlock between the free and controlled sides. The first pair admits a user, the sensor confirms how many people are inside, and only then does the second pair release — an extra layer of protection against unauthorized entry, and an exact occupancy count at every moment.
LED Visual Identification
Colored LED light windows follow each user through the gate. Different colors can be assigned to different user groups — passengers, staff, crew, or unauthorized individuals.
Uniqueness Detection
The control software isolates and tracks each individual user, preventing tailgating and side-by-side unauthorized entry with precision not possible with traditional IR sensors.
Multi-Credential Support
Accepts barcode, RFID, MIFARE, fingerprint biometrics, and contactless technologies including facial recognition and iris/finger-on-the-fly identification.
Signature Industrial Design
Industrial design by Alexander Neumeister — the German designer behind projects for Siemens, Hitachi, and Thyssen Henschel — delivering both aesthetic excellence and functional precision.
Controlled Passage, Counted Precisely
One user enters, the lock confirms, the far side opens.
- Four doors form a secure lock between the free and controlled sides
- 3D sensing counts the people inside the gate before the far doors release
- LED windows follow each user in their assigned group colour
- Detects unauthorized users in front of, behind, or alongside an authorized one
- Doors open and close in one second; all four release together on emergency
- Compatible with bi-directional and multi-lane configurations
- 1200mm configuration accommodates wheelchairs and luggage
Available Configurations
Mix and match widths.
Ideal Applications
The dPass is designed for high-end facilities.
